Asha Sharma Death: A sad news is coming from the TV industry. Actress Asha Sharma, who has worked in many shows and films, is no more in this world. Asha Sharma has passed away at the age of 88. However, the reason for her death is not yet clear.

The death of the actress has been confirmed by the Cine and TV Artists Association (CINTAA) and CINTAA has also expressed condolences. The death of Asha Sharma has sent a wave of mourning in the TV industry. Asha had also worked in the popular TV show ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ and the film ‘Adipurush’. Along with the TV world, film personalities have also expressed condolences on her demise.

Actress Tina Ghai said- Asha was on bed for more than 1 year

Asha Sharma was bedridden for more than a year. Actress Tina Ghai told the media, ‘After the release of her film Adipurush last year, she fell 4 times. She was bedridden since last April. She was ready to work even at that stage. Asha Sharma wanted to work till her last breath. She was bedridden, but she would often ask me to get her a role in which she had to play a character lying on the bed. Despite being unwell, her passion and enthusiasm remained intact.’

The director of Aadipurush said – I am very sad

Director of the film ‘Adipurush’ Om Raut is also saddened by the death of Asha Sharma. He said, ‘This is very unfortunate. She was such a wonderful actress and human being. I am very sad to hear this. It is worth noting that Asha played the role of Mata Shabari in Om Raut’s film ‘Adipurush’. In this film, famous actor Prabhas was seen in the role of Lord Ram and actress Kriti Sanon in the role of Mata Janaki.

Apart from serials like ‘Nukkad’ and ‘Buniyaad’, Asha also gained popularity from ‘Mahabharat’ (1997) and ‘Kumkum Bhagya’. She also appeared in films like ‘Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam’, ‘Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai’, ‘Humko Tumse Pyar Hai’ and ‘1920’. The late actress also worked with Dharmendra and Hema Malini in the film ‘Do Dishayein’.
